As a new and emerging brand, lowercase was at a crucial point in its journey–approaching the launch of their first product. I helped capture their product in a way that would not only highlight its features but also demonstrate how it fits into the daily lives of their target customers.
The new brand needed imagery that could be used in numerous applications, such as, e-commerce, digital marketing, and funding efforts. While the imagery needed to address different audiences for specific touch-points, as a whole they needed to embody lowercase’s brand spirit and everyday user.
After learning more about the lowercase brand and vision, I crated a moodboard that represented the creative direction for the shoot. The goal was to create imagery that spoke to people in their 20’s and 30’s who appreciated tech and being able to get some time at a golf course or driving range while they were traveling or on-the-go.
Working closely with lowercase we then identified the ideal locations and models for the project. One set of images would focus on the urban lifestyle of the bag’s users, shot in public transit hubs and cityscapes, to emphasize the main scenario this bag would be used. The other would be studio-based, with a clean, minimal aesthetic to emphasize the product’s design for e-commerce.
The result was a collection of images that spoke to the heart of Lowercase’s mission. The lifestyle shots depicted the urban golf bag being used in various everyday settings—on public transportation, in city streets, and in the hands of people who embody the brand’s spirit. These images help potential customers envision how the bag fits into their own lives, making the product feel both accessible and desirable.
In addition to the lifestyle shots, I created studio images with minimal backgrounds to emphasize the bag’s features. These images were designed to capture the product’s details ensuring that they would be perfectly suited for e-commerce.
