Looking for the best photography studios in Denver for your next shoot? Whether you’re planning a brand photoshoot, editorial session, or product photography, finding the right space for your project makes a huge difference in the final images.
As a Denver-based brand and product photographer, I’ve shot in many different Denver photography studios, but these three stand out for their versatility, lighting, and unique aesthetic.
This retro styled loft photography studio in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood makes for a great backdrop for so many types of photo sessions. But my favorite type of session to shoot here is a brand lifestyle photoshoot.
The studio is thoughtfully styled with multiple corners and set-ups, which allows me to create the feeling of several different “locations” within a single studio rental. This makes it incredibly efficient for brands who want diverse, yet cohesive content without moving locations. This space is the perfect blend of industrial and lived-in, with vintage furnishings and warm textures.
One of my favorite lifestyle photoshoots was done here for a Denver based cannabis brand, Leiffa. The space worked perfectly for creating relaxed and approachable imagery that had an editorial touch.
The studio space I rent the most often is Void Studios due to how versatile and cost effective the space is. For photographers looking for a large photography studio rental in Denver, this space features multiple bays to rent out (each with a cyc wall), which range from large to massive.
I especially love bringing models here for product photoshoots that involve talent interacting with the product. The space allows plenty of room for lighting setups, creative direction, and client collaboration.
Although I usually bring my own studio lights, Void Studios offers a wide range of equipment to rent out, including lighting and backdrops. Another huge advantage is the size of the studio. There’s enough space for clients to comfortably attend the shoot, observe the process, and collaborate in real time.
For larger brand productions or commercial shoots, this flexibility makes Void one of the most practical studio rental options in Denver.
If you’re looking for a photography studio that feels truly one-of-a-kind, Atelier Broadway is the place to go. Located just outside Denver in Westminster, this studio was created by photographer Jonny Edward and is designed for bold, fashion-forward imagery.
The space features walls lined with stunning painted canvases and more lights and modifiers than you can dream of. The creative possibilities here are endless, especially for editorial photography and artistic brand campaigns.
What truly makes this studio stand out is the curated wardrobe closet that Jonny can pull from to style models. This adds another layer of creative direction to shoots that allows for exceptional visual storytelling.
The imagery created in this studio tends to be bold, artistic, and thought-provoking. During a recent shoot here, I even had the chance to step in front of the camera myself after stepping into a linen suit from the closet!
