Hi, I’m Dana!
Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, I’m the eldest daughter of a photographer and graphic designer–who discouraged me to pursue a creative career.
From a young age, I’d play on my parent’s computer and open InDesign. My love for graphic design and typography was born from making my very own dog encyclopedia. Photography also had a central role in my life. I’d help my dad on photo shoots and in my free time would snap pictures of anything and everything. Eventually I learned film photography and darkroom printing (it’s a goal of mine to have my own darkroom in the future). As I approached adulthood pondering what I could do for a career, nothing excited me like the creativity of design and photography.
After earning my BFA in Design and Visual Communication, I moved to Denver, CO and developed a passion for brand building and visual storytelling. Stories are essential to creating empathetic connections. I seek out experiences through traveling that inspire my creativity.
